Summit Students

Are Making A Big Splash for Their School.

How It Works

  • Summit’s Swim-A-Thon will take place during the week of May 6. Your child will participate during that week's two regularly scheduled swim classes.

  • Talk to your child to help him or her set a personal goal. Last year, the average number of laps was 150 laps per child swimming the width of the pool. Miriam Hammer, Summit’s swim director, will document the number of laps each child swims.

  • Network early with your family and friends to sponsor your child. Use our pledge/donation form and solicitation letter now to rally support. Reaching out to your circle makes a huge difference.

  • Every child will bring home some Swim-A-Thon Swag. It’s our way of saying thanks for their enthusiasm, participation, and contribution. Without them, this annual event could not happen!

  • We will be providing updates about the Swim-A-Thon through Summit eBlasts, including links to this site, sample solicitation letters, and other useful information.
